An integral part of this festival of piano playing will be four public masterclasses given by Idil Biret, Arnaldo Cohen, Norika Ogawa and Susan Tomes. The participating pupils will be nominated by music schools and conservatoires, giving these aspiring young musicians an opportunity to learn from some of today’s renowned performers and teachers. *The Masterclass with Susan Tomes will be devoted to the piano in the context of chamber music.
