Min Young Kim, 27
Min Young Kim was born in 1996 in the Republic of Korea. She won 1st prize at the "Orbetello Piano Competition 2023”, 1st prize at the "Concorso Internazionale Per Giovani Musicisti Citta di Massa" in 2021, 1st prize at the "Citta di Sarzana" competition, the "Franz Liszt" (Spain) Piano Competition 2021, and the "Salzburg Grand Prize Virtuoso". She received 3rd Prize at the 9th Concorso Internazionale di Esecuzione Musicale Giovani Musicisti "Citta di Treviso" in 2017, the "Livorno Young Piano Competition 2018", and "Chance Festival-Preis" and "Clavis-Festival-Preis" at the 18th Münchener Klavierpodium der Jugend Internationaler Wettbewerb. Additionally, she received a Diploma of Distinction in the "Concorso Internazionale Valsesia Musica 2020”.
Min Young studied for a Bachelor's degree in music with Professor Hiroko Maruko at Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts, and pursued a Master's degree with Professor Yuka Imamine. Currently, she is studying at the University for Music and Performing Arts in Mannheim in the class of Professor Alexej Gorlatch.
