Linda Lee

Linda Lee began her piano studies at the age of five in her native Seoul, Republic of Korea. She attended Yewon Arts School and Seoul Arts High School, graduating with honours. She studied piano with Professor Aviram Reichert at Seoul National University, receiving a scholarship for her outstanding academic performance. Currently, she is pursuing her Master of Musical Arts with Professor Boris Berman and Professor Wei-Yi Yang at Yale School of Music, where she earned her Master’s degree with a full scholarship.

In addition to her outstanding academic excellence, she had the honour of receiving both the Seoul National University Alumni Association prize and the Elizabeth Parisot prize from Yale, which are awarded to an outstanding pianist of the year.

She has established herself as an international artist, winning prizes in numerous competitions, including 1st prize at the 28th Leoš Janáček International Competition, the Pia Tebaldini Piano Competition, and 2nd prize at the Giorgos Thymis International Competition, and the Samick-Seiler Piano Competition. She has performed in various venues in South Korea, the USA, Israel, China, Belgium, Italy, the Netherlands, Greece, and the Czech Republic, in solo recitals and concerto performances, collaborating with the Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra, the Czech Virtuosi Orchestra, the Xiamen Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Israel Symphony Orchestra Rishon LeZion.

She is thriving in her career as a solo pianist and as part of the Amnis Piano Quartet. With impressive achievements, including winning the Yale Chamber Music Competition and placing 3rd at the 2023 Fischoff Chamber Music Competition, she continues to excel in her musical endeavours.
