First Prize	£10,000 and the Frederic Lamond Gold Medal
Second Prize	£5,000 and the Lawrence Glover Silver Medal
Third Place	£2,500
Fourth Place	£1,500
Semi-final prizes	Eight Prizes of £750 each
Best performance of the Commissioned Work      £500

Piano Award

In addition to the cash prize, the winner of the Competition will be entitled (subject to certain conditions) to receive an award from the Alfred-Reinhold-Stiftung Foundation of a 190cm Blüthner Grand Pianoforte.

Engagements

There are prospects of future engagements with both national and international arts organisations, subject to negotiation. Such engagements are not exclusive to the First Prize-winner.

RSAMD Piano Scholarship

The Royal Scottish Academy of Music & Drama Endowment Trust and the RSAMD will offer a major Scholarship to a competitor at the 2007 Competition.  The scholarship will cover all fees and a £7,500 maintenance award will be provided to enable the student to study at the RSAMD for the academic year2008/2009.
