SIPC former contestant to play with RSNO
The 1st Prize winner in 2017 Can Cakmur has gone on to further success as he also won the 10th Hamamatsu International Piano Competition in 2018.
His first CD has recently been awarded the prize for ‘Best Solo Instrument Recording’ in the International Classical Music Awards 2020. Can will be performing as part of the ICMA 10th Year Awards Ceremony and Gala Concert in Seville on 30th April 2020. He will also be performing at a meeting of the World Federation of International Music Competitions in London in late February.
